AT THE UNIVERSITY OF NOTTINGHAM WE ARE COMMITTED TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF LOCAL EDUCATION.
Our outgoing vice-chancellor, Sir David Greenaway, and Lady Susan Greenaway, have been strong advocates for the University of Nottingham’s role in supporting education in the region and our newly established Greenaway Scholarship aims to remove financial barriers for ambitious students from low-income families in the East Midlands. We have also launched a new Foundation Year programme which offers local students an opportunity to gain a place on one of our Arts and Humanities degree courses. We are delighted to support the Nottingham Post Education Awards in order to celebrate the often unrecognised achievements and hard work of students and teachers in a range of educational contexts in Nottingham.
